XiFi is a software interface to Deutsche Bank's Xavex Principal Trading Platform.

Xavex Principal Trading Platform is a Deutsche Bank Trading System designed for "high-volume, discount" trades by financial intermediaries. Xavex lists over 2000 securities.

XIFI was developed by Endeavour to link into Xavex. XIFI connects to Xavex and retrieves real time quotes. These quotes are valid for a short time. A trader can choose to buy or sell within this time period.

XIFI integrates into Pumas to handle instructions, contract notes and other chores. A reference to Pumas is uploaded with each trade for subsequent reconciliation. A dedicated link or ISDN connection is required to Xavex in Frankfurt by the system.

XIFI was recently reviewed by Sun Microsystems as a success story, due to innovative use of cutting edge technology.
